Personal portraits offer a unique look at the energy and character of a person or group of people. Much like some of the celebrity profiles, personal portraits are taken in different backgrounds and invoke different feelings depending on what the subjects bring to each photograph. Some of my favorite personal portraits take place on the beach or in the water. There is something so powerful about the energy of the sand, the sun, and the sea. Family portraits are uniquely special, because they create a very strong visual, quite unlike any other.
